Betfair live video update

We will be releasing a new Betfair video player version tomorrow that moves our Desktop flash player to our CDN to improve performance. This should not affect any services that you supply to customers if you surface an videos in your tool if you are not changing the behaviour of the player. But if you notice any customer complaints then it may be related to this switch so wanted to give you a heads up to be forewarned.

If anyone has wrapped the player or proxied the player to hide its true location, then this will not work in the future because the embedded flash player is moving to a new domain in our CDN and requires granted access to the specific Betfair defined endpoints for interacting with the videoplayer JavaScript.

Nightmare recently BF video feeds. Never used 365 is it generally slower or quicker than Betfair? cheers

Could anyone run a 365 stream today both atr/ruk tracks and check the difference with betfair video? don't play inplay often so if its the same or just behind betfair then no problem. just need something more stable when not home, have racing uk there so only use live video for atr tracks, sometimes miles behind due to crappy betfair feeds if open up early, cheers

Hi,
i am interested to know what are the quickest live horse racing pics you could get at home.
sometimes its nice to be able to have a bet in play and just don't want to be at a disadvantage.
from streaming, for me, its still betfair LV. but you need to go on low quality. is that about correct?
do you know if racing uk streaming is any quicker.
or does anyone know if racing uk via terrestrial tv ( connect tv ) is any quicker.
i am told the sky feed is definitely not.

they really don't care. it seems. yesterday on one race it was a 18sec delay

it took literally years for them to sort out all the saturday afternoon slow downs, lock ups, crashes etc.
dont expect them to sort their vid problems out for at least 2 years probably 3 or 4.
