I can relate to that

I lost 3 stone last year, and am enjoying running again, but my 45 year-old knees are giving me problems

I might need to find another form of activity soon!

So so, got struck by an injury to my calf so had to take a few weeks off recently so I am forgetting about going sub 2hrs 40mins now. Though with a fair wind I may still get a new PB of sub 2hrs 44mins.

Did 22.2 miles on Sunday and then have the final long training run this weekend of 24.2 miles.

Hopefully will see you out on the course again this year! (And hopefully I am in a better state than when I saw you last time!)

Enjoy your birthday - hope you and the family have a great day!

We wish you all the best on your birthday Mr Webb, from me and the missus up here in deepest darkest Lincolnshire.
Not knowing your age I didn't want to make any assumptions about which 'big one' it is next ;)
