Hi

I'm running a manual strategy which requires picks to be laid at BSP.

My problem is that the BSP i'm getting verses the BSP quoted on timeform are completely different, in most cases i'm getting a much worse price.

Anyone else experience the same or even better have a solution?

BSP should just be a backup it is too unreliable. Also if you're using large stakes you can force the BSP the wrong way.

Timeform's data comes from betfair - they can't be different.

Thanks all. Took a look at my results today and they were all spot on. The main difference is i put the the bets on the night before. I guess not everyone can get matched at BSP but who knows.

Everyone gets matched - no exceptions. What do you mean 'not everyone gets matched''? I've never failed to get matched since BFSP started.

getting matched yes but i was matched at slightly worse prices. I need to dig the examples out but as I say BSP was spot on today so no problems.

Worse than what exactly? Can you give one concrete example? Remember that BF calculate SPs to many decimal places, but Timeform round up/down to 2 decimal places for reporting.

apologies my post is a little misleading.

What i was seeing was that I was not being fully matched. i/e I lay every horse to a max liability of 100 but sometimes the liability is less and I don't know why. I assume it's because my full amount isn't matched before the price moves?

BSP 26 so it lay £3.54 to give a liability of £88.50
