New Betfair routing

We noticed increased latency on routes to Betfair recently.

On querying with Betfair they confirmed that an extra hop is taking place via a third party to filter traffic via a DDOS service.

So we thought you should be aware if you are seeing an increase in ping times.

Should stop the site going down every saturday afternoon around 3pm then to DDOS attacks?
