Fifty/Fifty?

Opinion polls suggested Johnson would be in danger of losing his seat in an election. Perhaps that would be the winning candidate. :)

Not sure if Ben Wallace is justified as fave, he has some baggage to explain exaggerating his military career and some anti-gay voting. You can be sure people are digging for anything else.

Rishi Sunak looks small and light enough in weight to be a jockey, should not matter but many may be put off by having a diminutive Prime Minister.

EDIT

Looks like Ben has now been overtaken as fave by Rishi.

Rishi Sunak actually looks smaller than he is

Sunak: "Someone has to grip this moment, and make the right decision. That's why I'm standing to be the next leader of the Conservative party, and your prime minister".

Ben Wallace has drifted to 5.5.

I agree Tories may consciously (or unconsciously) seek someone who is worthy but dull

Backed him yesterday at 7.6 - couldn’t understand why he wasn’t shorter… pun intended.

It's quite ironic after Sunak has been backing Johnson up until the last moment and now says someone has to make the right decision.

Looking at his leadership video which was produced months ago he has obviously been planning this for a long time.

Apex skill of a politician. To be a chameleon. Undetected or reluctantly accepted by the current electorate (be that MP's or the public).

Suzie Boniface: Sunak's slick PR video sounds more like a CBBC bedtime fairytale story.

I don't know why some people seem comfortable speaking in public but are unnatural and hopeless in videos but Richi Sunak is as bad as Gordon Brown was. :)

I completely forgot that Sunak received a fine for breaking the law, along with Johnson. Hardly a fresh start for the Tories. :)
