And thanks Peter, I genuinely wouldn't be able to keep up with 20ms updates

If you switch off streaming Betfair seems to be OK, but it feels so slow having got used to 20ms updates!
streaming i've just get "http/1.1 Service Unavailable" i haven't been able to get it to work today yet.

Streaming playing up again, I'm currently polling but checking for the benefit of others.

BF's performance is totally unacceptable

What they don't seem to understand (and it's the reason why their website needs to be more stable than any other bookmaker), is when people trade they place stakes that are way beyond what they would place as a punter. When BF's site goes down, it's an inconvenience to those on the sportsbook, but it's an absolute fooking disaster for those on the exchanges

The ladder froze and i didn't know when the race ended until a searched in another site.I was watching the Live Stream Racing, but it crashed too. Same happened to me last year in a Real Madrid match (1k loss). They refund me $800.

If this problem didn't happened i could perfectly close my trade in green. The horse didn't win off course, but it was possible to close my position.

Well ironically, they had supposedly released a new status field on the streaming API to tell you if there were any issues. Ironic in timing, but also it's not working as far as I can tell! Useless!

I've flagged it to Betfair.

I've managed to get markets loaded but only by shutting down Bet Angel and connecting again.

So maybe best turn streaming off for today (or likely to experience problems either way)?
