A great addition but for the life of me I can't figure out how to level my position before the event starts e.g. green/red up.
Help please!
New Automation Tool
Thanks but when I did this all of my parameters went missing.
Sorry if I sound a bit thick, but I'd like to keep all of my parameters/conditions the same but just level my position before the event starts.
I'm guessing I can't have two rules applied to the same market at the same time?

Hi
All I just looked at some of the video,s for the new BA version i.30. IMHO this is a mind breakdown for newbie traders, there is just to much info, I personally like the fact of manual trading (am in control of what am doing), the spreadsheet feature that shows your PNL for your strategy is not as good as having a visual bank, but saying that I will give that part of it a go. But with the recent inplay feature and now this, I think it is overkill of a great piece of kit. I would of like to of seen a feature where I can lay to a liability of, tried it within the bookmaking and liability tab, say want to lay a horse for a liability of -£74.25, or a feature of lay to a percentage of your bank. I will carry on the manual way as it is looking rosy doing it that way

Hi
I've been running this on a test account on the greyhounds this morning and then the racing this morning. I think it is a great addition. I didn't use it in isolation but in conjunction with excel.
For the next version would it be possible to have a rule that allows me to control the data request? (or even better in excel itself).
Thanks
Regards
Peter

Excelent...I really like the new automation addition to Guardian. I installed it a couple of hours ago and not being one to waste time I wrote two scripts for soccer, and tested them live with small stakes and before you know it I am red all over
Anyway, sorted it and the scripts seem to run ok except for a bug and a couple of minor irritations.
First of all the bug seems to be that even though I have a set a condition of:
Number of unmatched bets condition is equal to 0
on occassion I was getting multiple bets firing. At one point I had 4 bets that had been sent off even though it was set to wait for 9 seconds before rearming
excerpt of log
This is not consistent and I do not seem to have any control in re-creating it.
So on to a couple of feature that I think would be a great addition.
I am only able to place a lay/bet relative to the market price i.e I can place a lay at a number of ticks above or below the current lay price. When I am trading however, what I really want is to be able to lay at a number of ticks above or below the current bet price. (and the reverse for betting)
The next problem I encountered is to do with the suspension due to a goal/red card in soccer. The odds are all over the place after the suspension and there is a lot of un-gentlemanly behaviour taking place What would be nice would be a condition that would be;
Do not place bet/lay within (x) seconds of market being unsuspended.
Well, that was my two pence worth. Although I may appear critical, I actually like this release very much and I think it is a huge step in the right direction. Just need to iron a few minor things out.

This is football related.
I want to place a trade at exactly 30 minutes after the game has commenced. The Italian game Inter Milan v Cagliari started at exactly 17:04. Using the "Relative to Start Time" would take the time of 17:00 and not 17:04, 4 minutes out. Using the "Fixed date and time" would give me the same problem, 4 minutes out and the last option "Relative to in-play time" causes problems because if the market is suspended for any reason during the first 30 minutes then my bet will be placed 30 minutes from the suspended time and not from the beginning of the game.
Is there any way of setting up the automation so I can get my bets placed exactly 30 minutes after the event has started?
Thanks,
Mike
