I thought that was strange as well.

API was better today, still a little slow at times and I think it stopped once for a brief time.
I still don't trust the API or Betfair, so can't go for the big results that I'd like to.

I know there is alot of doom and gloom about trading cricket with betfair, including mark iverson contemplating retirement. Thought i would post another green to keep the spirit alive.

Sorry burdo77, wasn't trying to be to be all doom and gloom but things are just tougher for me these days.

I either need to adapt or consider other options. This scenario has always been there, but the difference I now find is Betfair are continuing to put obstacles in the way of progress.

On a positive note, the opportunity of making £250k by trading cricket on Betfair is still there for all new starters.

I totally understand, I am under no illusion that the chance making a career out of trading is about 1000/1 once premium then super premium hits.

i still have a lot to learn about trading cricket, I believe the value lies in trading the make or break players. still Need a lot more analysis though......

only once has a team in the big bash scored over 208 to win in a chase in 110 games since the inception of the big bash. the score was 209... $$$$$$1.30 for the heat is value to say the least........

For all the Aussies, I have been trading live on Matchbook, they are mirror prices from Betfair and good volumns. Hobart was bouncing between 4.30 and 4.50 during the break. It is manual, but easy pickings.

Just because it didn't work out doesn't mean it wasn't value.

And if you were trading, there was a chance to get out with a profit after the Hobart price went in to under 1.1 with plenty of runs still to get.
