Looking good. :D Might have to try my bot on UK greyhounds ;) What stakes are doable trading greyhounds in UK? I am thinking 50GBP maximum. Also, generally do people bail out before 30 secs to avoid early market suspension which appears to be so prevalent in GH markets? Of course, if any of this gives away your edge, no comment is a valid answer :)Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

I particularly like how Peter mentions he's on version 27.

There's a lesson for everyone there, sometimes you'll devise a bot that hasn't provided the results that you want, but rather than just scrapping it, analyse what aspects worked and what didn't, and then try to re-work the strategy by ironing out the shitty parts

Excellent work PW

Thanks, I did try and make a point on the version number as it takes a lot of work and refinement to get it consistent and I'd imagine that will continue for some time.

If I had recorded version numbers I reckon could be around 500 lol...the difference between a master and amateur-ville here :D Nice work indeed Mr Webb

If you're tweaking and iterating versions you are on the path to success.

Mine only managed £57.86 today because it slipped up a couple of times this evening bringing down the overall total.

neither, it is a rule developed over 3 years that is now returning a stable profit.
when your creating a bot, why would you want to bog yourself down with statistics.
Statistics are history, gone forever. Has no bearing on what is happening at that particular moment in time.
When you are creating your bots you want them as generic as possible so that the influence of track, distance , time, odds on favourite etc
has no bearing on the bot. The bot is designed so that i don't have to trawl through statistics or charts or other information.
It does the hard and boring work (being a bot it doesn't get bored) so i don't have too.

strike rate for the day.
There were 88 UK greyhound races today.
My Bot ignored 28.
from the remaining 60 races it lost twice.

97% strike rate and 31% profit on turnover, can't argue with those figures. Memphis is a shining example to us all of what can be achieved with excel and a bit of imagination.
