So annoying this is (yet another) thing I can't do from Australiaspreadbetting wrote: ↑Tue Jun 05, 2018 4:13 pmA new cash race up at the moment. This one spans the WC so should be easy enough for most people to churn their way to the top.

Last day to log in and claim your prize
I never noticed a new Cash Race was on until I logged in just now and had a pop up asking if I wanted to opt in, been going for 3 weeks already:
"What do I need to do to earn my cash prize?
You must first opt into the promotion by logging in to the Cash Race site.
Once you’ve opted in, all the Betfair Points you earn through placing Exchange and Tote bets between 00:00:01 BST 21/11/2018 - 23:59:59 BST 19/12/2018 (even those you might have placed before opting in) will qualify for this promotion and contribute to your progress towards a cash prize."

4 targets to aim for this time and the top one is worth getting, might actively chase this one
There is a 2% comission option on Betfair?
I am wondering are everyone elses cash race points calculated correctly? I seem to only get fraction of the of the Betfair comission points for the cash race, I make about 1000 points a day but after 4 weeks my cash race balance is just 2900 points??? Anyone the same problem?

Seems to be working fine for me, on 98% of the final prize so should have just made it with today's points.
They calculate it by 1 point every 10p paid in commission, pretty sure they round down and don't aggregate either.

If they calculate 9.5 pence commission for a market they round up to 10p and you get one point. But you could pay 9p commission on each of ten markets, paying 90p commission in total but get no points.
Discriminates against £2 traders who are new to Betfair and learning the ropes, in my opinion.

Correct, that it's not so much of an issue with the cash race. It is though in issue with the commission discount rate.
You'd think BF would want those learning the ropes to stick around and having an arbitrary lower limit, below which you get nothing, keeps those learning the ropes from gaining advantages of a discount (and getting the feeling of being appreciated that goes along with it).
