I believe that if there would be anybody that's is as successful on HR markets than he would come up on surface. And nobody is doing that. And that's is where Peter's guess is coming from. "staked and profited" that's ~200k markets and a few billions in turnover and 18years. But if you want to challenge p&l statement than you'd have to find somebody's P&l or turnover as reference point.
The majority of people playing the markets are very secretive as to what they do, you certainly won't find them surfacing to post their pnl's as they've nothing for sale or to gain by doing so. That's not having a dig at Peter btw but obviously he has Betangel to promote so you'd expect a few pnl shots every so often to keep sales up.

Too many people talk a good story but run a mile when asked to give any evidence that they actually do it. I thought Bet Angel was a unique opportunity to show somebody actually confident enough in their tools and method to actually do it themselves.

I always feel obliged to post because there are so many bullshitters out there. I just want to show that my balls are on the line, the same as my customers.

To play devil's advocate, I'm not sure a self proclaimed tweet counts as hard evidence either.

Aimed at others that would be a valid comment.

To give things the correct context, the tweet was a reply to somebody that asked if they needed specialist racing knowledge to trade the sport effectively. That was all.

Bill Benter and Alan Woods?

I would not consider that a valid refrence point. it is hard to compare a trader with a gambler. And secondly they have to be on the same ground aka betfair with its "high liquidity" markets and 60% charges.
