hi all, i'm inplay trader and i do everything based on prices , in this month i have two problem with my winning bet. both allready settled and credit to my account but without any reason i just realize betfair steal from my ballance. one of them after the match is finished about 3 hours, my winning suddendly disappeared from my P/L and i can't see it in my account statement. the other they steal it AFTER 5 days i realize when i check my ballance and they steal it , in my statement the status is FIX (reversal)
i have screenshoot for both my bets from betfair website because i have bad experience before when i also have missing winning bet and when i contact and give my Bet angel screenshoot they make it difficult and say it a third party software and they can't find it in their system thats why after that i take screenshoot always from betfair site.
i have been annoying with this situation is there anyone have same experience like me, especially for inplay trader? or any suggestion?
sorry for my english , thanks
suggestions about betfair stolen my win from my ballance
If your statement states "FIX (reversal)" they must have a record of it this time so you need to find out why the market was resettled. If you complain about it it's possible you could get a goodwill payment. It would probably help if you don't use words like "stolen" - it's really a resettled market and you need to determine why it was resettled. Good luck.Just_nobody wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:00 pmhi all, i'm inplay trader and i do everything based on prices , in this month i have two problem with my winning bet. both allready settled and credit to my account but without any reason i just realize betfair steal from my ballance. one of them after the match is finished about 3 hours, my winning suddendly disappeared from my P/L and i can't see it in my account statement. the other they steal it AFTER 5 days i realize when i check my ballance and they steal it , in my statement the status is FIX (reversal)

Were these dog bets by any chance? It's not unknown for Betfair to readjust the settled market or void bets hours after dog races have finished.Just_nobody wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:00 pmhi all, i'm inplay trader and i do everything based on prices , in this month i have two problem with my winning bet. both allready settled and credit to my account but without any reason i just realize betfair steal from my ballance. one of them after the match is finished about 3 hours, my winning suddendly disappeared from my P/L and i can't see it in my account statement. the other they steal it AFTER 5 days i realize when i check my ballance and they steal it , in my statement the status is FIX (reversal)

Just as an example, one time I placed a dog bet a couple of minutes before the scheduled start. The race went off, my dog won. 3 hours later my winnings were reversed out of my account. When I queried it Betfair said they had forgotten to suspend the market before/at the off. On another occasion I had a winning dog bet only for the winnings to disappear from my account a couple of hours later. I queried it and they spun me some line about one of the dogs not finishing the race (ridicoulous as I saw the race and they all ran, no announcement from the comentator). This made me wonder if they would no longer take bets on jump racing.

If it’s football, Betfair has a policy to void bets after certain VAR decisions, even hours after.Just_nobody wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:00 pmone of them after the match is finished about 3 hours, my winning suddendly disappeared from my P/L and i can't see it in my account statement.

I'd guess it's football as they've re-settled some matches days after they originally settled, guess it's a case of if someone shouts loud enough they'll take another look and re-settled with a FIX adjustment. Nothing you can really do about other than take it on the chin I suppose. Anyone know if the other exchanges do simialr with VAR issues?northbound wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:45 pmIf it’s football, Betfair has a policy to void bets after certain VAR decisions, even hours after.Just_nobody wrote: ↑Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:00 pmone of them after the match is finished about 3 hours, my winning suddendly disappeared from my P/L and i can't see it in my account statement.

yes the statement states FIX (reversal) for my 5 days resettled , for 3 hours resettled they just disappeared without any statement.
i have been 2 year trade in betfair and i do everything based on prices even without watching any streaming, i find couple of times my statement states FIX but the problem is when my bet lost after the "ERR" & "FIX" it still follow with lost statement in my match bet so i still lose my money after the FIX statement but when my matched bet win they just take the ballance, is it not smell fishy

yes its football , like i said i do everything based on prices even without watching any streaming, and even VAR its been annoying if they fix it when the match still play on, i still know what to do about that but i can't accept it if the adjustment make after the match finished. i mean how do i know is my bet is related with VAR or not when there is even not any streaming for that match? this is not fair at all and they should change betfair name become bet isn't fair

You’re right, I despise Betfair’s VAR policy and believe in a true market all bets must stand regardless.
But we have to work around Betfair rules, so it’s advisable not to place any bets for a few minutes after a goal.

Whatever you think about the rules you have to accept that you're betting in accordance to those rules. The article that spreadbetting posted states "If customers placed bets on the basis that a goal was scored but it is subsequently cancelled because of a review, they were responsible for placing those bets and managing their position within the market in the knowledge that the event could be reviewed and reversed."Just_nobody wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 6:13 pmspreadbetting wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 5:11 pmI'd guess it's football as they've re-settled some matches days after they originally settled, guess it's a case of if someone shouts loud enough they'll take another look and re-settled with a FIX adjustment. You really have to accept the situation if you trade football. As northbound says, if enough people complain perhaps they will review the situation.
