Great news Naffman and well done,Naffman wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 5:59 pmGot an email saying I came 2nd and saying I was surprised is an understatement!
Had a very average final day and as Andy says the second day just felt a little bit off in regards to the servers.
Anyway, a nice friendly competition and I hope it increased the awareness of the BD brand

Yes I agree the rules don't really match what I would call a trading challenge.
I also have to say I don't really see why they bothered with the competition as they don't seem to have put much effort at all into promoting it.
An odd one.
Well done again to all the winners.
If a single bet made the bulk of the profit it shouldn't be beyond their wit to investigate and figure out what's going on and use their spirit of the rules clause, but I agree, the rules need refinement.

I agree also, In hindsight and with a little thought using both exchanges you could easiliy boost your profits with very little risk and still appear to be 'trading' to a certain degreeandyfuller wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 6:13 pmYes I agree the rules don't really match what I would call a trading challenge.

That could be why they only publicised the competition on the eve or near the start of the festival, while traders are busy doing all their homework.

Or could simply be Betdaq are staffed by clowns.
I suggested they run the competition, but felt they should have made it a bit broader to generate interest. Spot prizes for posting up a decent trade and so on. If you guys can think of a better competition then put your ideas forward and I will happily represent them for you.
The most highly respected clowns all work for Betfair!
