Was going to post this at the of the day. But given the problems today I'm going to stop now before it causes me an unexpected loss. But still a decent week. Betfair should be panicking.

Great set of results, very impressive.

Decided to give it a miss today, which after reading round the forum seems like one of the better decisions I made this week.

Aintree is trading surprising well today on Betdaq

Rushed back home for the first and over staked on it forgetting it wouldn't trade the same as Cheltenham.

Didn't make as much as I should have on Cue Card, but overall been okay so far. Decent enough liquidity.

It's going well again and no API issues. Saturdays are a massive stress point though, so I think it may be a problem until they figure how to solve that one. I know Betfair have major problems around those times.

I thought that as well.

Crossing my fingers it is going to be okay!

Seeing more and more issues now - bet placement becoming very slow.

I'm not seeing anything major this afternoon so far! Bit worried about the national!

It has been fine for me since I posted the above. Fingers crossed it holds up for the big one.

And the weather holds so we get some decent oncourse punting action.

Think it says something about the customer base of Betdaq that the National volume was so far off Betfair's. Obviously the very casual punter just doesn't use them, probably because they've never heard of them! Still, many of these people only bet once a year so it's no great loss I guess.

Y, the volume difference was stark. Traded OK but no life changer.

Yup it wasn't the greatest trading market - wasn't many layers around I found. On the plus side the site held up fine.

I did better on many other races over the meeting. Agree about the lack of layers. I even saw the book go overbroke a few times which is pretty impressive in such a big field. Ended up arbing some positions into Betfair as just couldn't get my back bets matched at a decent price.
