I've read the various pieces of info on here about Betfair's data charge and 20 calls/second.

I'm still needing an fool (idiot) proof understanding of it, though. Is my understanding correct, that if you've got the "Dynamic connection tuner" set to below 20, than you should be safe in regards to the data charge? Irrelevant of how many markets you subsequently run in Guardian, and nomatter what the refresh rate is set at there? As long as you're only running the one piece of software etc. as mentioned in one of your write-ups, obviously.

If one does run into a data charge, can a mail 100% be expected from Betfair, rather than them sneaking it in?

Switch to streaming and there are no data charges. Data charges only apply to the old polling technology. Very few vendors adopted streaming so a lot of software is still under this constraint.

That'll do it then :)
