Automation didnt work ..please help !!

Hi guys...

A newbie here.... tried the following Automation file...

after trying it on practise mode ...i kept it on live mode today for 8 races..

on RACE 2 ...it worked perfect ...placing a back bet and then greening up .. following are the logs:

BUT.....
I DONT KNOW WHY IT DIDNT WORK in other races .. as in it didnt green up on other races...making me lose $200 ... here are the logs :

CAN PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHY DIDNT IT GREEN UP BEFORE THE RACE STARTED ? THE AUTOMATION RULE CLEARLY STATES 'GREEN ALL BETWEEN 10 SECS TILL 1 SEC BEFORE START'
PLEASE HELP AS I DONT WANNA LOSE MORE MONEY ON THIS RULE.

How many markets did you have in guardian in total and what guardian refresh rate where you using?

Hi Dallas ...

I had around 40 markets in the guardian list but the automation was applied only to 7 of the races ..

The “Refresh interval” is kept at 1 second.

“Automatically switch Betangel market” is switched on.

“Market switch time” is kept at 300.

Even without automation rules applied Guardian will still cycle through each in turn, with a 1sec refresh rate its taking 40 seconds to refresh each market once - and the rule is only armed for 9secs so will explain why its not triggering every time.

When you 'switch to' a market its refreshed off your main screen but if you have markets starting closely together it may have switched to the next, or one after that leaving guardian to do the refreshing again.

Normally its best to have the Guardian refresh rate set to as fast as possible then if you still have too many markets use the restricted refresh option on the advanced tab so guardian ignores those markets not yet important

Got couple more queries :

1. Can I remove markers once I have added them into guardian ?

2. Tried to download the Profit and Loss file .. it saves as .CSV file which I open with excel ..
But it completely empty even though there were transactions involved .

3. Is there any tutorial based on “BA professional” software which I can browse thru and learn a bit more about the functions ?!

1, Yes, on the top of the ribbon is a 'Remove Selected markets' and 'Remove Suspended markets' button

2, Is this a P/L file downloaded from the forum or are you using a rule/export option within Guardian?
