Hi, I'm looking to record in play odds variations into Excel, particularly during the final stages of a race. (i.e. write a new row for each change in odds all runners)

Anyone had any experience of this ?

I presume this would mean venturing into the realms of VBA ?

I'm fine with Excel but never really had the need to use VBA very often.

Any advice appreciated.

Yes you'll need a data capture spreadsheet to do this, there are several ready-made ones in the Betfair data area

Great thanks, I'll take a look and see if I can find anything suitable.

Did you find what you were looking for? I'm also looking to record some in-play data from races as the pricing for the tick data from Betfair is very high.
Are the capture sheets posted on the other forum good for this?
I'd ideally like as low a refresh time as possible to check where the odds have gone during the race.

Since this thread first appeared, you can now export data using automation. So that should help you achieve what you wish.

Hi Euler,

I’m having trouble exporting the stored values using automation, would you be able to lend a hand?

Many thanks
