Programming your own trailing stop

I'm looking to create my own trailing stop from Excel. You might suggest that I just add the commands 'TRAILING_STOP:TRUE', however the problem with running the trailing stop with the original back/offset command is that it doesn't then allow you to dictate any parameters over it.

For example, one of my parameters might be my backed horse might drift hit the trigger whilst still being favourite and go on to win. So I'd only want the trigger to be active if my horse was no longer favourite. I can do that with the VBA and cell formula's I have, but issuing the command: 'LAY WITH_GREENING:TRUE TRAILING_STOP:TRUE STOP:3 STOP_PLACE:7' doesn't work unless it's part of an offset.

So I'm wondering if there is a way to either create my own trailing stop or any other commands that will help me achieve this?
