I know there are a couple of apps for Betfair trading on iPhone, but does anyone know if there are any for Android phones, and if so, can anyone recommend one?
I need to update my mobile so I can get some lay trades in during the day, and am wavering between an iPhone and an Android.
Any suggestions welcome
Cheers

Zoombet Lite is the one for Android.

Very fast and user friendly.

No graphs though

I was going to install Zoombet myself, but came over a bit Paranoid Android after reading one of the reviews in the Android market;

Caution required
We've analysed this app and see that all traffic is routed through the zoombet server. That means your username / password , account history everything. Effectively what they 'could' do is harvest thousands of active Betfair accounts just by sitting back and waiting. I would not use this until sensitive info goes direct to Betfair. All being said it is lightening fast but would I use it now I know how its put together and what they can see.. No ( server is 109.231.78.202 ) SSL Certificate is fake.

Just spotted a new app;

http://bet-droid.com

- no idea if that carries the same alleged risks as Zoombet, but given the current WARNING thread on this very forum I'm not going to risk it until I know more about that one either !!

I once put zoombet on and then shortly after had my account stopped for.security reasons for trying to login to many times. I cant remember the exact situation but I got rid of it due to paronia reasons. Be nice for.a few more.confirmations.that its.safe or even a BA version available. Id be happy with a ladder and some.quick preset.staking options.

generally find the odds offered by betfair aren't as good now on the app as they used to be http://www.bettingonapps.co.uk/app/betfair-android-app/

Really found that http://www.bettingappguide.com/android- ... ndroid-app offers unrivaled features compared to other betting apps on the market. Loads of market choice for football and other racing plus loads of special offers

Gambling apps aren't available on Google Play. You have to download the apk from the apps own website.

Just a quick FYI, gambling apps were recently made available on the Google Play Store (including Betfair Sportsbook and Exchange).

Yes, that's true. Have noticed that some of the apps are a bit buggy (crash) or are just the mobile web site in an app 'container'.

Have been using BookieBoost (bookieboost.com) for a while and found this to be good for managing multiple bookie apps including Betfair.
