I'm sure we will get around to introducing more, but sometimes we just can't implement things in a logical order.

I have heard back from Support who requested a list of proposed shortcuts which I have now provided them with. The list below hopefully includes all of the ones requested in this thread by all the various contributors.

I have requested that they apply to both the Betdaq and Betfair versions of the software.

Some of the shortcuts in the below list may already be present in the software but I thought I would compile a complete list for future reference. So in no particular order of importance:

1. Cancel all bets across the open market
2. Cancel all bets on the current active selection - i.e. the selection the mouse is currently over
3. Cancel all back bets across the open market
4. Cancel all lay bets across the open market
5. Cancel all back bets on the current active selection
6. Cancel all lay bets on the current active selection
7. Cancel most recently placed unmatched bet

8. Decrease stake i.e. move to the stake box to the left - across the open market
9. Decrease stake i.e. move to the stake box to the left - on the current active selection
10. Increase stake i.e. move to the stake box to the right - across the open market
11. Increase stake i.e. move to the stake box to the right - on the current active selection

12. Select the default stake - across the open market
13. Select the default stake - on the current active selection
14. Various, perhaps 6, user defined, stake buttons

15. Select the net stake - across the open market
16. Select the net stake - on the current active selection

17. Select the green up stake - across the open market
18. Select the green up stake - on the current active selection

19. Select the previous stake - across the open market
20. Select the previous stake - on the current active selection

21. Hedge all bets across the open market
22. Hedge all bets on the current active selection
23. Close all bets across the open market
24. Close all bets on the current active selection

25. Centre all ladders
26. Sort the market according to the selected sort order

27. Take SP all bets across the open market
28. Take SP all bets on the current active selection
29. Keep All bets across the open market
30. Keep All bets on the current active selection

31. Watch list 1 on/off (1 button toggle)
32. In-play Trader on/off (1 button toggle)
33. Ladder view/one-click/maunal bet (1 button to toggle through the 3 options)

I wonder if we will ever see voice activation come in? If it did I can just imagine our other half's reactions as we all sit barking orders at our screens all day like lunatic's

I'm not sure that's a good idea, Dallas

In my experience, many traders have the vocabulary of Gordon Ramsey

Its not something i could ever see myself trusting given the problems i have making my sat nav or mobile phone do the comands i want, Gordon Ramsey would be proud of us all.

It could make for some great you tube vids and allow us to have a "Fat tongue" thread

I don't currently use Bet Angel but I am fed up not having the ability to use a shortcut key to change unmatched bets to Take SP or Keep just before the off.

Can anyone let me know if these features are now in Bet Angel as if they are I will be switching to Bet Angel after losing a lot today due to this feature not being present in the software I currently use and so I ended up inplay with a large stake which wiped out the whole days profit.

I have watched this video Peter posted about the feature but I couldn't see these specific shortcuts shown in it:

Yes Bet Angel lets you create over 60 fully customizable keyborard shortcuts, the take SP and Keep bets are found in the 'Unmatched Bets' catagory within the shortcut editor.

A really good idea about custom shortcuts for "take sp" and so on.

Does nobody have/see the need to place bets at the press of a keyboard-button?

I'm thinking something similar to the cancel back and cancel lay bet hotkeys but to place a bet instead.

For example;
'O' place lay bet at x ticks above/below best market price - where the number of ticks and above/below best market price would be customizable. This sort of functionality is already available through automation but it's just not possible to action it at the press of a button.

I honestly think my reaction times could be greatly improved by using hotkeys to place bets as opposed to switching from one side of the ladder to the other using the mouse.

Any thoughts?

This is an old thread, look at the post by Euler 2 above your post, a few upgrades ago a keyboard shortcut editor was added to the software allowing users to map over 70 actions to any key they want
Also there is this thread
