Hi guys

What do you find is the best way of recording your trading in terms of leaving it recording all afternoon or do each race separately then save the recording?

I left Camtasia recording all afternoon today, then stopped it and it had a paddy and I lost all the recording. Not sure about Camtasia, it seems to take ages to render the video so I might give something else a go.....

never had any issues with camtasia. usually I do portions of one hour recording and saving it as an *.avi file straight away.

Hello there,
I am looking for some video capture software that will also capture the sound off the pc. I want to record streamed football games with live commentary, to later run along side data.
Does anyone know of any software that can capture both please?

Guess i am lucky. I use an imac 27" i7, it uses quicktime to record the screen at upto 1080 hd resolution, have to run BA from the VPS though.

I have a habit of recording every race i trade. In the evening I go back over and beat myself up over every mistake :)

For anyone who hasn't recorded a video, I'd recommend it.

Some of the trades I recorded looked fine at the time, but I later watched the video and thought 'Why on earth did I do that?!?'.

As a result, it was a great learning exercise.

I know this is an old post but I was looking for a similar software that can record football markets along with live pictures and outside sound as well and I found that in OBS, which is a free open source software for streaming and recording, it's also considered to be by far the best software for livestreaming (like on Twitch.tv etc).

I personally like it because not only does it have window capture features, but it can also record videos in the background while I use the screen for something else. It's surprisingly easy to use as well.

I looked up movavi but it is Mac only?

Given the length of time since the OP, what are people using these days?
