I don't like the fact that my BA Basic calls MS Internet Explorer. I do have Explorer 8, but I don't use it; my default browser is Mozilla Firefox. Though it probably can not be helped, if the program is written in some .NET environment.

So I guess Explorer is here to stay. And it sees some problems in betangel and/or betfar sertificates (justified or not). To be more precise, it says The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address.
I put https://www.betangel.com, http://www.betangel.com, http://www.betfair.com and https://www.betfair.com in my list of trusted sites. Didn't help. I have to press "Continue to this website (not recommended)" and only then I am getting the page. That's when I open Explorer.

When BA calls Explorer, it's worse. I can click "Continue to this website (not recommended)", but I get the same warning page refreshed. No matters how many times I click.

I hope this problem is common and you'll be able to help me. Thank you in advance.

P.S. I have Win XP SP3 and no active firewall

Bet Angel runs using the Microsoft's .NET Framework and as such is the only browser that can be embed in the software is Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
Perhaps just try to install the latest version of Internet Explorer to see if that helps.

So my problem is totally unheard of?
Since my settings are much looser than the setting of average user, I assumed that many users had the similar problem...

It's not unheard of but I doubt many people are now still running XP. :D

I'm still running XP  and it does everything I need it to but in January 2017 I lost the BA desktop on the home page. It turned out to be the certification problem and I've learned to live without the desktop. The wierd thing is every three months, it returns for a week then disappears again. This January it actually hung around for nearly three weeks but last month its stay was back to only a week.

I now think of it as a rare bird visiting and feel very privileged that it chooses to come back for a week every quarter. I can't wait for its brief return in July. I wonder where it spends its time the rest of the year...
