Or is it garbage in, garbage out?ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 2:07 amWhat's your native language Stella? Google translate seems to turn what you're saying into meaningless garbage...
Do you mean you aren't actually trading the Betfair markets? If so, it seems bizarre to me how much 'advice' you post on the forum if you aren't actually a successful active trader. Or have I misunderstood what you meant?ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 6:26 pmI haven't done any 'proper' trading for almost 3 months, it's 100% 247 development at the moment still.
Very true, so Shaun used to be a top trader who is now retired and just tinkering with automation, my mistake. Do you know why he gave up full time trading Derek? Just made too much money and wanted to leave some for the rest of us?
I didn't say he gave up or retired, I didn't even know he hasn't been trading. I'm just saying if you stop trade for three months your trading knowledge will still be up to date. Two years may be different as the markets will have changed substantially in that time.

I've been trading on and off since 2000, plotting and gambling since '82PDC wrote: ↑Fri Oct 26, 2018 11:09 amDo you mean you aren't actually trading the Betfair markets? I've been trading fulltime for about 2 years.
I've become bored with my approach (staring at the ladder all day).
I've taken a step away to learning a new language (C#, after nearly 40yrs of using Basic) and I'm writing my own quant trading system.
That's in beta test at the moment with a full implementation due in December.
I wear size 9 shoes and 30w/32l jeans

I didn't mention they're getting a bit snug and drag on the floor. Given a choice I'd be in my comfy XL overalls all day
...well that's the gamble anyway. Sat here watching little muddy Irishmen isn't how want to spend my best years, there's plenty of time for that when I'm dribbling down my cardigan waiting for the nurse to bring me my soup.
