I'm working on a bot for trading football in-play. It involves placing a lay bet in-play and then closing the trade as quickly as possible immediately after a goal has been scored and the market has been unsuspended. What is the best way to close out the trade? Place a back bet and green up or just green up - which I believe will do both? I've been doing the latter but it doesn't appear to work properly, in that it doesn't equalise the profit across the markets. Apologies if this is a stupid question!

The green all rule will do it however your best waiting at least 60secs following a goal for the market to reform otherwise you'll get a very bad price and sometimes matched at different odds to those your green up triggered at due to all the gaps (which is what will cause unequal profits)
