Want a tablet which I can use my mouse on (which connects via USB port ie. not bluetooth) so went to Currys and asked if a Samsung tab A 10.1 would work for this but told no but the expensive Samsung s4 would...
Any suggestions? Use VPS by the way so can connect easily through RD Client.
Which tablet to use?
Yes, mines running Win10 so has RDP installed and I've never had any issues being able to connect to my VPS
I use it daily to keep an eye on my automation on VPS and of course when I'm out and about
Mines a few years old now but the newer ones are all a bit bigger and I prefer its compactness so as it still does the job perfectly I've just held onto it
Edit; Just found this pic from last year

I think it's just a version of 10 optimised for Surface. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/ ... comparison

I'm sure a few will find it amusing my link is to the Guardian but honestly it was just the first link I found.
I was just going to post
As far as I know, the major thing with 10s is it doesn't allow 3rd party apps so only those from the Microsoft app store can be installed, so Microsoft remote desktop will still be available to download even if not already pre-installed
that link from Shaun seems to confirm that
