Can someone explain why one back to lay is correct but the other lays at a much higher price.

Am i doing something wrong???

It is backing fave 1 & 2 and not rows 1 & 2 but it's worked ok the last 2 days.

The bot greens up in last 10 secs, so If your lay wasn't matched it will take whatever price is available at that time

Thanks dallas. Is that also why i get some big wins and big losses??

Its all a bit inconsistent.

Thinking about putting in a green out condition at a certain loss. Would this help?

You can build/modify it anyway you want so yes you could green up and stop the rule if a loss value is reached and/or have the green up trigger if a bet is still unmatched after X seconds so the bot continues but just doesn't have a unmatched bet sitting pointlessly if the odds are clearly moving away

This happens alot. Is this not greening up??

Thanks again Dallas.

What rule do i use to green up if a bet is unmatched? Is it the unmatched bet condition i use??

Can anyone advise me of how to set up this rule please?

You may need to cancel unmatched bets, then green up.

Here's my bot (based on Dallas one from this thread), it does what the above says.
red at 25p and green at 10p.
Feel free to let me know what sort of improvements you can add, I'd love to make this bot green up to a pound a race.

At the moment it's kind of 40/60 success rate I would say, I do not know why yet.

I tried it selecting backing the fave 2 dogs instead of rows 1 & 2??

At times though when odds change it can sometimes fire on the 3rd fave too.

Using £1 stakes on last 25 races last night it finished £5 up and last 4 hours of racing tonight finished £8 up.

Using rows 1 & 2 can sometimes bet on an outsider, has anyone had any success with this?

Thoughts guys.

How do you use/set £1 stakes in your bot?

In the parameters tab in guardian you can set the stakes to a desired amount.

I will have a look at your bot tonight and see if we can make a profitable bot between us 😂

I think the software cross matches some of it? But i'm quite sure on the main Betfair site you can only place bets of 2quid upwards
