I know you can't see it on the consumer side yet. But money is flooding out of the UK at the moment.

The City hates uncertainty - they hate uncertainty more than certain bad news

more long term goodness. foreign speculators in commercial property have pushed up the price of property and land (and rents) and made the UK a more expensive place to do business.

terrible time to pull their money out - they're getting a lousy rate!!!

Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel wants to punish us to stop others leaving!

THANK F**K I VOTED LEAVE.

How can anyone defend a dictatorship like that?

It's incredible to think some people tried to make out the intellects voted remain

I'll have a go ;)

What he said was:

“There must be a threat, there must be a risk, there must be a price, otherwise we will be in negotiations that will not end well and, inevitably, will have economic and human consequences,”

And from Germany:

"She appealed to German firms to show a united front with EU governments in negotiations over Britain’s departure from the bloc, urging them to support the principle of “full access to the single market only in exchange for signing up to the four freedoms”.

"If any country was allowed an exception, she said, “you can imagine how all countries will put conditions on free movement with other countries. And that would create an extremely difficult situation.”

==> All pretty standard & reasonable I would have thought in terms of setting out a negotiating position (from the EU point of view)..

Good to see the intellectuals among us seeking to get a fair and balanced view of both sides.

worse there could be a marmite shortage.

they forget to mention that. migrants, single markets, freedom of movement etc, but they never said we could have a marmite shortage. the bastards kept that quiet.
