Clinton got backed to sub 1.1 didn't she? Far from over imo, but if Macron wins it gives us more reason to hate the French ;)

I'm not French.:)
The figures that all the French media were giving yesterday were not polls but actual polling station results.
His lead of over 2 pts over MLP before the big cities were in was simply to large for her to overcome, and the odds were still at 1.25.
The only moment I regretted backing him is when Reuters reported the count was going in MLP's favor. Macron then drifted all the way to 2's for a couple of minutes before steaming back down at 1.15. Backing it at 2's .... what a dream!

Anyway, it's been a great election to trade so far, looking forward to more!
Who cares about politics anyways!:)

Without running the risk of sounding callous - I'm sure Le Pen is hoping and praying for another appalling terrorist attack before May 7th

Given her family history I wouldn't be suprised if she's organising one right now.

I think she is praying not to win. No way she can reform france to a blooming economy, let alone handle a frexit. She has a much easier position if not elected: influence but no responsibility. Being second is her best outcome.

Not sure if that will make a difference or not

It's like Nigel Farage standing as an Independent candidate, instead of representing UKIP

Would that make a difference to his votes?

going as an independent probably a smart move. Im surprised she's drifted, Imo she's increased her chances of a victory

Withheld every poll going 60-40 for Macron, she hardly got any chance of winning this.
I'm sure one poll will probably show 55-45 and he'll start drifting. If he hits 1.3, I'm in.
Her big friend would be huge abstention figures in two weeks time!
