Just noticed something odd about the Betfair graphs. That bet for £11k (£5.5k if it includes layer's stake) should be spread over several ticks all the way up to 4ish. It just appears on one tick.

Typical, I was just thinking it had run out of go at about 2.24, about to take my $'s then boom. ffs this tests your patience sometimes. 2.22 into 1.8 in one smash

The only consolation in these situations is knowing there is little to no way to have preempted it

It was exactly at -300s.

That lump had the feel of a bot taking it's profit in a badly programmed way, the exact time, the terrible execution.
It had been about 1.8 early when the drift started and the smash back was to almost exactly that level. What was as strange is that there wasn't a decent bounce back on the fav.

This week's been like owning a shop, great sales all week then on Friday afternoon, everyone brings everything back for a refund.

Think of Royal Ascot as a temporary stall where you sell your goods and then bugger off - no returns. :)

At 2 mins to post this was shoved out from 8.2 to 10s, then got battered into 5s

Then never traded below mid 3s IR

Some big spikes around today outside of Ascot.

This one caught me out, I held on a fraction too long.
