You never know, Barney or Poets might bring home the bacon in the 15.50 yet...

on the ale now Shaun, couldn’t really get in a groove from the start, in hind sight should stayed well away from the 13:10, got caught up in a flip flop & never really recovered, got in too early on Moore’s 2nd ride of the day & got caught up in that spike, wind howling past the windows & to boot United are losing.. should’ve stayed in bed todayShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2017 3:37 pmYou're only 2 hours in. Don't write the day off yet. Stay mindfull of the big variation in quality and volume today. Multiple styles required.

Sigh... Cracksman was covered as a dutch thankfully. Not a single one of Seahorse's ratings / picks have even been close! C'est la vie I guess... Shoulda guessed when St.George came back in from 20s to win what kind of a day Ascot was going to be...Crazyskier wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2017 3:36 pmYou never know, Barney or Poets might bring home the bacon in the 15.50 yet...

Good work ? or a complete waste of time? Seemed to be just gambling anaysis.
I prefer not caring who wins.
What scale are you using for your ratings ?SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2017 11:18 amI have spent most of my spare time this week working on my speed ratings for Champions day and I will share them for anyone who they may be of any use.
1.25 Long Distance Cup:
Recent Performance:
1. Stradivarious: Rating: 1865
2. Desert Skyline: Rating: 1852(Cheek-pieces has given improvement for each run) 4th run with Cheek-pieces today.
3. Order Of St George: Rating: 1421
Do they represent 100th's of a second ?

Did anyone have success on Betdaq today ?
If done well you can use it to predict who will be backed or laid. Or at least give a reason for what you're seeing on the ladder so you can assess how likely it is to reverse/continue.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2017 4:09 pmGood work ? or a complete waste of time? Do you really think this years Arc was one of the best for years ??... I'm surprised... I think the winner is a lovely horse, but I thought it was a very weak Arc.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2017 10:00 amYes. Personally I think Aidens best chance is Caravggio today.
Order of St George cumming 4th in probably best arc in many years is step to far for me. He ran in the Arc last year and same race. Both Arc and long distance cups were weaker last year. He only managed 4th in this race last year at 4/6. I think Order of St George layed at a place is huge value. Clearly one of the best horses around but so many things point to a good lay for me.
Order of St.George always reminds me of a poor mans Ardross (for those with long memories...lol), but he is as honest as they come.
