I think it would be interesting if Peter could do a video or provide some stats which I am sure he has on how the Betfair markets compared to these stats from Carol and Ladbrokes in this article.

I would have guessed the Betfair markets may differ quite a bit to the bookmaker markets outside of the top 10 or so:

It does highlight somewhat the importance of the Cheltenham Festival, a sea of green (representing Cheltenham Festival races) on the image from the article.

I've always been surprised to see the Scottish Grand National up there as it's never been a big race for me, but most of the others on the list run to form.

Ditto, wouldn't have even expected to see it anywhere in the top 40

Doesn't this list vary according to the market makeup? A couple of super shorties in any given year really skew the volumes. Are you measuring turnover or traded liability?
