Figure this one out?

I suspect back bets on the outside two were cross-matched with the rest.

Funny how when that happens you often see 2 or 3 bets placed at that price.

Bots I would guess reacting to the initial bet.

Somebody's got a bot that goes bonkers mid-morning. Tomorrow I might throw in a few random back bets to see if I can catch any fish. :)

That looks more like a 'Fat Finger' the difference is usually a bot going wrong causes the price to go up and down rapidly as someone/another bot takes advantage of it.
Whereas a fat finger is a single misclick so you get the spike out back to normal quickly after.

Peter has done a video on creating a fat finger bot which can just be left in the background all day or even 24/7, it won't trigger often but when it does it can bag a few quid

Based on that one and previous one, it does look like someone has a setting, on a selection, to hoover up current prices mid day, Lay @9.0+

Possibly they feel the selection can't win and then back it In-Play for a set profit. (some form of a L2B set and forget strategy)

They should be taught what is a "value", then :D .

That's for sure.

Just shows there are elements of laziness that still exists, even in trading.

If that's the case he's obviously not using Bet Angel or he'd lay at current lay price if it's less than 9.0.
