Always looked like Wicklow Brave was going to lose this race, no surprise to see it fall early on

Jaime Sommers well backed before the jump so pretty sure that'll be top 2, but I guess that's Irish racing for you.

Wasn't intending trading today, just happened to catch them by chance - I'll maybe stick it out for a bit now

Some crazy moves today, the move from ~4.0 started in the last 5 minutes before the off :

That's absolutely mental even for a NHF

Was there any playing up or obvious cause?

None at all, was fine at the start and going down and was even being talked up a little bit by the RUK presenters as being nice if it won and was no mention of any negatives about it. Also ran perfectly respectably.

The way things are going in a few years we'll be posting relatively straight/flat charts here as a 'Chart of the Day' and just accepting those like above as the norm!

Not that unusual given the profile of the race and runners .Some very well bred flat types as well . Incidentally the easy winner Alright Sunshine is a half brother to Jaameh, who ran and finished third in the Group Three Lexus stakes at Flemington less than 24 hours ago !!
