Shocking, but it does remind you that these incidents are extremely rare on racecourses.
As a % it happens extremely rarely however just this weekend talking to non racing people the perception is starting to be the exact opposite, that it happens a lot. The people I was talking to who know what I do brought up the topic saying they had seen 'yet another' report of fighting at the races and then went on to say how there is no chance they would take their young family racing anymore as it is just full of young lads getting pissed up.

Racing needs to be very careful with its perceived reputation into the future.

I know regulars who go to most meetings but will avoid weekends altogether, no surprise looking at this

Markets quite lively compared to last week when we had sole meetings.

Enjoying trading today, had a cathartic sit down last night where I clarified exactly what I'm trying to do with my trading, and why.

It's only when I checked in I realised the old what/why have needed changing for some time now.

I did the same last night. Not the best of weeks last week but I decided I was OSing here and there and scalping unsuitable markets. More swings, steamers and drifters this week, hopefully. :)

Large field non novice handicaps whether hurdles or chases are my fave race to nab some profit on. On the other hand I despise maiden hurdles and NH flat races.

That 3.35 at Carlisle was perfect for me

Only doing nags coz there is no cricket on.

I'll have a little break, bike ride and then dip into Newcastle (my local track) braced for those vicious moves including in handicaps that seem to occur on night time all weather racing.

I'm mainly tweaking and testing automation today.

Odds-on favourite and everything else in double figures for the 18:00. Think I'll skip it for the BBC news.

Drifters win all the time

Derek I'll do you proud by cautiously scalping the 18:00

Lion Hearted was relatively easy to extract something from,. In that live session Euler released he said short priced faves along with competitive handicaps are the 2 races he finds easiest to trade.

This is my level on the nags and will be for quite some time.

It's really a case of deciding not to eat something because you don't like the look of it.

But I need to eat a sandwich so I have to miss one market, and the news is conveniently on. :)
