That clearly then isn't always or often as you said. And I would dispute your point about last year as well.

The markets have been nice to trade today. No manipulation money about like last week. Quite a few 'gappy' markets which I like.

I was just talking off the top of my head and from what I can remember. If you watch ATR at 5am regularly and are adamant that it never happened last year then I'll take your word for it.

Frustrating night tonight in Australia, just making the odd 50p.

The Sunshine Coast may be short of liquidity but it's certainly not short of fun. :D

Never traded Echuca before, very vibrant market with a fair liquidity for the time of year. :D

Usually metropolitan meetings so prizemoney better and city class horses/trainers/jockeys

Each state only has 1 meeting too so nice gaps between races (unlike a Saturday)

I might look to trade Wednesday's as well in the quieter UK months then. Need to be careful though of not falling foul of the Betfair limits on the NSW meetings.

I like the lack of time on Saturday's as the money all arrives in a few minutes and you can just move from market to market. The session flies by each week with races every 4 minutes or so.

Do you ever bother with the Harness racing, whenever I look at the end of the Saturday sessions the markets are pretty dead likewise the greyhounds.

I looked at the profits my bots make on AUS racing and it always picks up starting Wednesday which is 19% of the overall profit, Mon/Tues in singe figures and a peak of 32% for Saturday. Friday only 11% for some reason, dunno why as it seems to trade a lot of races

Fridays are very low quality like Monday/Tuesday and there are quite a few markets so not much gets through each one

If you had to pick 3 days to do it would definitely be Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday

I do quite a bit and you can get some good moves (best courses are Melton, vic and Albion Park, qld) although if you get it wrong it can be a struggle to get out without getting a biggish loss

Thanks, naffman, that seems to tally up with my bots day by day profits, always wondered why Friday didn't seem to generate more profit.

Thanks Naffman, I thought it was just Randwick or Flemington that make Wednesdays, Tuesday nights to me.
