If I recall this happened recently and was a flat battery.

If you are mentally still in a good place it doesn't really make sense to stop but I understand why you might if you have hit your pre-set stop.

There is a long way to go yet and the session can easily be turned around given time.

Perhaps a 30 minute break or something and come back and treat it like a new start.

Stop for the session? You don’t consider each event to be independent with a long term positive edge? Interested - think it through.

Agreed, unless you are mentally in a bad place it doesn't make sense to stop. Otherwise you are picking heads because heads is on a winning streak.

Yep. It is possible to go on “tilt” or at least it is for me - I’ve been there.

I'm having a boring session, hard work for small gains. I never stop when I'm losing unless those losses are caused by cock-ups or lack of discipline.

WOW what a recovery by the jockey James Lynch on Euroman in R2 at Morphettville.

Didn't see it but the commentator was knocked off his feet by the recovery.

The finish to R3 at Flemington was pretty good as well, as Thommo would say 'PHOTO':

Much better result at Randwick. Gonna have to readjust to these weaker Saturday markets.
