Many thanks for creating this bot. I just wonder about this:
The bot use a 10£ stake. Using Danish Kroner it puts in 10 Danish Kroner (which is under the Betfair minimum on 30 Danish Kroner). Can I change that so that the bot uses a higher stake and how?
Best regards

Edit the rule file and change the stake in the parameters tab

I've been using this bot in practice mode to see how it works. I stuck up a bunch games from the major European leagues to test it out, and it's just did something bizarre on the Inter v Chievo game. This is the log:

03/12/2017 13:59:16: [G_Auto] : £ 14.49 Lay bet placed on Over 2.5 Goals at 1.69. Fully matched at 1.69. Ref: 10012
03/12/2017 14:04:00: Guardian has detected that the market is in-play
03/12/2017 14:04:00: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
03/12/2017 14:04:06: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspended
03/12/2017 14:05:16: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
03/12/2017 14:05:22: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspended
03/12/2017 14:14:13: [G_Auto] : Greened up Over 2.5 Goals by Backing 12.82 at 1.91
03/12/2017 14:14:17: [G_Auto] : Cancelling bets 10017
03/12/2017 14:14:24: [G_Auto] : Greened up Over 2.5 Goals by Backing 12.75 at 1.92

Yet, in the matched bet box, it has both back bets of 1.91 and 1.92 as well as the initial lay of 1.69. Now, it has an extra back bet on the O2.5. So it hasn't greened up properly. If the match ends up less than 2.5 there be a big loss. Just as well I'm testing this in practice mode, otherwise, I'd be panicking. Is there a reason why Guardian placed two back bets? I haven't touched anything in the rules file BTW.

Have you got a screenshot of the matched bets?

Now, I manually green up with the lay on 1.93 after I noticed that, just to see how I could cancel it out (learning the ropes at the moment) but before I did that, it just had backed the O2.5 at 1.91 & 1.92. But if I wasn't paying attention to that, just having Guardian on in the background, I could have potentially lost out, as not long after that Inter scored.

In very rare instances a bet may begin to be matched at the exact moment Bet Angel sends the request to cancel, that would be my first thought but looking at the timings and the rule set up (if unchanged) thats wouldnt fit

I would just keep an eye on it and see if it happens again, you could also increase the number of times the green up can trigger (it will stop placing bets automatically once all sections are equal) If it were to then happen again the 3rd green up would re green for you

Hello guys,
I need you to help me out with this one please.
I download the file and add it to Guardian, no changes made.
the game starts, it triggers a lay bet, but when it suppose to back and green, it backs with 2 bets.

20.12.2017 14:44:16: [G_Auto] : # 6.25 Lay bet placed on Over 2.5 Goals at 2.6. Fully matched at 2.6. Ref: 111821993368
20.12.2017 14:47:04: Guardian has detected that the market is in-play
20.12.2017 14:47:04: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
20.12.2017 14:47:05: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspended
20.12.2017 14:56:49: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
20.12.2017 14:57:19: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspended
20.12.2017 15:02:15: [G_Auto] : Greened up Over 2.5 Goals by Backing 4.58 at 3.55
20.12.2017 15:02:25: [G_Auto] : Greened up Over 2.5 Goals by Backing 4.58 at 3.55

but in the Matched Bets Section I have a lay bet 6,25 at odds 2.6 and back bets 4,58 at 3.6 odds, and 4,58 at 3.55 odds.
one remains without matching

it triggered 2 back bets at a 10 seconds distance ... is this some kind of error or ... something changed?

Which league was the match you were trading from?

is right now in in-play, Egypt Premier League - Alassiouty with Wadi Degla.

the price came down, so I could close the trade on the ladder.

Low level leagues like Egypt will have longer in-play delays than the main leagues and could be up to 12 seconds,
If trading these type of leagues you will need to increase the rearm time used on the Green Up rule to ensure the first will arrive in the market before another is triggered

I would increase from 10secs to around 15secs on these leagues and similar.

Hi all,

What is the best way to introduce a stop loss into this bot?

For example, if I wanted to extend the green up time out further but protect the risk of a goal using say a 25% stop loss, what would be the appropriate way to amend this bot?

Thanks,
Josh

You could create another green up rule and set it to trigger after say 60 or 70mins if there have been no goals by this time.
Or you could add a back bet to trigger at the same time using a stake that is in proportion of your original lay stake - that will reduce your overall liability

Hey Dallas

I'm new and I'm sorry for posting this here if I'm not supposed to but I can't wrap my head around this

all I want to do is back O1.5 inplay at 30 ticks higher than SP (as in put an order in rather than when the odds hit 30 ticks higher than SP) as long as the as the odds are higher than 1.19 from kick-off

It wont seem to put the order in, could you look into that for me, I would link my file but I dont know how

maybe add a signal to cancel the order if a goal is scored?

Thanks.
