Hi Dallas,

I have gone into the parameters to try and change the stake but, there is nothing there, just blank. Could you please advise.

Thanks very much for your time.

Hi There

Am testing this bot in practice mode and it seems that they Lay Bet is not always triggered. Know that when triggered it wont always be matched if odds arnt met but would have expected it to still place the bet into the market to be matched.

Any idea why this would be happening?

Thank you

The lay bet has no conditions and is armed the whole duration the race is in-play so the only two things that can stop it is a loss of connection
Or you have Guardian restricting the refresh to pre-off

I will try this one today... Thanks Dallas. I changed the rider's to 'Nominated riders' as much as automation is my friend to save time... Sometimes you need to be careful.

Hiya all

Ive been using this bot and it works well, the only issue i have, and i have looked to see if others have mentioned it. Is that if my back back is not taken up due to the amount bet v odds, sometimes the lay back is still placed, now that is obviously not a good situation, as the lay bet is only taken when the fav is making good way by at least 15 ticks.

Therefore, a lay bet on its own could be costly with this bot :(

Is there a condition i can use to prevent the lay bet being placed if the back bet was not placed in the first instance?

Many thanks

You can add a 'number of matched bets condition' is greater than 0 to the lay bet rule

If the back bet hasn't been matched by the time the race goes in-play it's cancelled and the lay bet won't trigger

hi dallas is there a way i could get out of the trade for a loss if the favourite didnt get involved and never got near the 15 ticks? also could i set the lay bet not to trigger if the back bet not matched?

Yes you could add a close trade rule and green up at a P/L value
viewtopic.php?f=56&t=11407

Or use stored values if you want to test if the price has drifted 'X' number of ticks/percent from the entry price

The lay can be prevented by adding a 'Number of matched bets on selection' is greater than 0
and 'number of unmatched bets on selection' is equal to 0

I have recreated this in Betdaq and it seems to work OK but I have 2 questions:

- BA/Betdaq don't have an SP functionality so I have created the Lay bet before it goes in play (and put a matched bet condition of >0 to make sure the back has been matched). Is that right(about no SP)?
- There is no "keep" functionality - does Betdaq autokeep bets? It seems to but didn't on one occasion (but my clock may have been out)

Regards

Both keep bets and Take SP (XSP) are available in Betdaq, but they are in the main options area
