Thanks for this. So I can undertand 1 point. If the price of the favourite never comes back to your lay price then your green up will actually be a red up? Is that right?
Off the top of my head i cant remember the exact way i set this up, soon as am back behind my desk with BA open tuesday ill import the rule and have a look and let you know

Hi,
I really like this file and would like to say thanks to Dallas for putting it here, very much appreciated. Just one question, if I wanted to add a rule to 'back' as well as 'lay', would the 'signals' work on both, or would I have to add another set of signals for the 'back' part.
Apologies if this is a stupid question, I am simply not sure.
Thanks again Dallas.
Kaz
You would be able to just add a 'back' bet rule - easiest way is if you highlight the lay bet rule and click the two green arrows icon to duplicate it then change the rule type from lay to back

Only other thing you might want to change is the WOM condition for the new back rule otherwise should be good to go, just test in practice mode to start with

Only if the 'Green up final' rule triggers just before the off - otherwise up till then if a offset is not matched within 10 secs it will look to scratch

Does this bot work in staking mode: "by liability (back and lay)" ?
Or do I have to pick some offset option from the left top drop down menu ?

Be careful with that staking method when odds on. If you back with £100 "by liability" @ 1.2 your bet will be £500. Instead of leveling out the tick sizes, at low odds they increase rapidly.

Hi everyone,
Could anyone just point me in the right direction on one of the rules regarding Book percentage condition
On the above automation bot, it contains in the conditions

Condition Type : Book Percentage condition

The Market's : Lay book percentage

Is : greater than 99.2% for Lay bet scalping............ Works perfectly for Lay Bet Scalping

...................................................................................................................................................................

For Back bet scalping....... Is it the reverse for the Book Percentage condition?

Market : Back book percentage Is : Less than 99.2% for Back bet scalping

if this is the case when this condition (above) is inserted in the for back bets it wont fire any bets into the market. If I delete the back book percentage out of the bot it works?
apart from the bot looking for any Back book percentage.

Just to let you know I have reversed all the other conditions form Lay to Back and all work perfectly

Any advice on the Book percentage condition for firing 'Back' bets will be very much appreciated
Many thanks all
Richard

The back should be above 100%, so to mirror your lay it would be less than 100.8 %.

Not sure what went wrong with this on the 16:55 The Bay Birch a lay bet was placed for £60 at 2.27 then a back bet was placed for £9.74 at 2.32. Everything was going along as normal for the last 5 or 6 days then this

Where did the £60 stake come from :o

Just noticed on my betfair account there were 2 £10 lay bets then 1 back bet, then there were 4 £10 lay bets but no back bets and no greening up

Have you made any changes to the original file - no matter how small?

The lay bet shouldn't trigger if there are ANY unmatched bets in the market so cant understand how its done so.
Also something even stranger is the first green up @ 2.24
Another was triggered 3 secs later (which is fine as that's what its suppose to do) but it has done so by sending another back bet as if the previous one was unmatched. That would be normal if the odds were shorter but they were now a few ticks higher so the first green @ 2.24 should have been matched if the odds were now 2.28 when the 2nd triggered.

What type of internet connection are you using - wired or wireless?

The only thing I can think of to explain that is a brief loss in connection where the first green-up was done but BA hadn't been able to retrieve that info so sent another

No changes have been made.

I'm using a wireless broadband connection.

Its strange as I've sat here for the last 5 days actually watching it work and I thought "great I can go out and not watch it today" then when I come back this happened. :(

I'll sit here a watch it work today though :?

That could certainly of caused the green up issue, a fraction of a second drop of connection at the wrong moment.
If you can use a wired connection I'd recommend doing so
