Happy to help, just send me track/distance in a private message and I'll run the lay bet simulation for you.MemphisFlash wrote: ↑Mon Aug 06, 2018 9:06 pmi have data going back to 2013. but would be interested in what you have
Or alternatively, just write it here in public.

What i found in Belle Vue, they have had 1277 races from january until july.
Of those 1277 races this particular event has only happened 10 times.
That is a fantastic 99.22% effective.
I am going to data mine all the other tracks but i beleive it will be a similar story.
This is going to change how i automate greyhounds in the future.
Obviously i am not going to give any clues, but i am buiding a spreadsheet with all the information i have found.
Nose to the grindstone time for at least aweek to get all my data, but once my bot is in operation it will be on 24-7 every greyhound event around the world.
Doing Towcester Next, Following Same pattern.
think my light bulb moment has arrived after nearly 4 years,

What kind of data? Free Betfair CSV files? Betfair historical trading data? Greyhound form?

Hi Memphis
I have been data mining myself for a while and established some interesting trends on the Australian market which has helped me build some models for automated placement(using excel)
I'm limited to the Betfair Sp data - which definitely has major limitations - (since it has been changed to the new format - and I'm having trouble with this new format)
Out of interest - what data are you using? - is it the Betfair Sp (in CSV format)?
Is it the data from https://historicdata.betfair.com/#/home - if so is there a simple format to extract into a useable excel format?
Or do you have another source?
cheers

I think a sample size of around 7000 is good enough to prove my point for what i discovered the other night (as i'm getting bored inputting the numbers into my sheet). my bot has been created and is ready to go on all greyhound races today.
