Not really trading, but I figure people might want the chance, if they've missed the news.

Pokerstars are running a free World Cup campaign with a 1st prize of 100 millions pounds. You need to predict all matches including knockout rounds. Quite small chance of doing that, especially in a set of results where you'll be the only one (it's split if there's more than one with every pick correct), but then 100 mil is quite a payday.

Up to 19 additional chances to pick results if you complete daily challenges with them.

Didn't an octopus once predict a good percentage of them in a previous WC?

Indeed, Paul the octopus as I recall. And some other animal for another WC or Euros I think.

Anybody wanna split the cost of buying a top level octopus?

Yeah it's quite small 3,433,683,820,292,510,000,000,000,000,000 / 1

I just need to find a bookie that will take my £1 and I'll get much better value :)

Well you can piss off ;) I knew, I shouldn't have posted it here. I deliberately choose not to run the math in excel, because I was pretty sure, it was going to depress me, and I wanted to dream :) You've crushed a man's summer dreams now  Guess I'll have to go outside and see the sun instead...bloody hell

Cheer up, it's 50/50. You either win it or you don't.

This looks easy compared to the 100 million challenge.

1 in 16 trillion.
