I know I've already stated this, but today's prices on Venus vs Konta are wrong

There is no way Venus should be trading at 2.18, not on a grass court

I'm hoping it will be a good match between Williams and Konta

All one way traffic in Muguruza Vs Rybarikova SF (6-1, 6-1)

Had this chart been from Newmarket you would have been over the moon :)

imo (ducks for cover) :) It will be tough for Venus to reach the final 17 years after the first time and 8 years since the last time. Depends if Konta brings her A game which she should be able to replicate to a degree.

Also quote from Konta this week. Sums up Trading nicely I think!!

“I’ve always believed in my own ability and I’ve always dreamt big. But again, I am much more process mind set orientated”
“So I don’t give myself too much time to dream, and more focus on the work.”

That was a good call.

Any idea how far behind the Bet365 pics are? Just watching the ladders and the match, certainly seems as tho people are beating the delay.

We all always talk about the efficiency of BF markets, but as an avid tennis follower, I've noticed some terribly inaccurate prices pre-match this Wimbledon. Aa a serious tennis trader, a few of them have defied belief

On a big sporting event people bet with emotion not brains.

Just a message to Euler.

Sorry for making such a big deal about questioning your opinion on Konta.
And No Konta didn't win vs Halep with limited risk!!! Although it was a great match. I am here to improve, not wind people up.

All the best guys and have a successful weekend.

If everyone had the same opinion or had to always conform to someone elses then it would make for a pretty boring forum, its this and the healthy discussion around them that helps everyone improve. I know Euler is the first to welcome posts from any user who has a different view to his own

I honestly don't remember if I said anything on Konta? Or debating it? Maybe crossed lines here?

Anyhow, the forum is here for people to deliberate and debate so I'm totally relaxed about opposing opinions. It's important to have opinions debated because that's where any view will be re-enforced or changed.

Tend to be slightly sanguine on the latter stages of a grand slam. But looking forward to today's women's final.

He's talking about me PW, not you. He got his wires crossed.

I had written her off as tournament favourite, and was staggered at her favourtism to beat Venus

I thought it was interesting as she didn't have the form to carry her so far, so I guess it was the 'home' turf that propelled her higher.

Would you say there have been more inaccurate pre match prices this year than in previous years, and if so what do you think would be the reason for that?

There is clearly courtsiding going on, or somebody is in a position to beat the 5 second delay?!
Courtsiding is supposed to be banned within Centre Court, ie no wi-fi/network signal, but there's clearly a way round it.
Not all in-play markets have the same delay, so perhaps some BF insiders are able to give themselves a smaller delay or even no in-play delay?
