I am trying to figure out if back and lay bets can be different values in automation.
e.g manually if I bet a 3/1 for £2, I then can manually put in a lay bet for £2.20 at say 2.65/1
I think this guarentees me approx 20p profit if both bets are accepted.
Is that 35 ticks of a difference and does automation allow different bet sizes for back parameters and lay parameters of same rules file?

This can be done by using the 'offset with greening' option on the parameters tab of the rules editor and just input the number of ticks you want to use.

Also by ticking the fill/kill box it will ensure the offset bet is only placed after the opening bet is matched.

See this link for how offsetting works

The 'cog' is just to enable global setting on the regular trading screens for manual bet placement.
When using via automation its competely seperate from above and to use you just need to select the options you want to use at the bottom of the 'Parameters' tab
