Hi - I’ve searched but can’t get to understand this.
My project.
Store row 1 price when market goes in play.
Store when price goes out to price £x
Store if it steams back to £y
Back at £z if above 3 true.
So looking for a selection that drifts in-play then bounces back.
I’ve read all about stored values and signals and completely confused myself - can anyone help pls.
Baffled - signals or values
Start with a fix market order rule as the market turns in-play
The rest can be done with just signals, starting with a set modify signal rule with a fixed odds condition to specify price is greater than 'X'
on signal tab use set signal on selection
Then add another set/modify signal rule with another fixed odds condition to specify price is less than 'X'
also, add a signal set condition to test if the signal named (whatever you called it on the first rule) is set with a value
on signal tab use set signal on selection again and give this signal a new name
Finally, on your back/lay rule add a signal set condition to look for the latest signal you have just set
That should do it, I'm just on my way out now but if you get stuck post just back and ill pick it up later unless anyone else has answered in the meantime
Give this a try, I've taken out the stored values and left just the signals as detailed earlier.
I've not had a chance to test so run it in PM first.

Hi.
No it doesn’t work as it should.
Sometimes it bets as the price goes out through 80.
Sometimes when it goes over 100 but before it drops back to 80
Tried changing LTP to Back price on bet rule.
Tried removing steam to 80 signal so
Stored bsp < 80
Signal > 100 set
Back if 100 signal set and back price < 80.
Still doesn’t work.
Sorry.

I've just looked at it again and can't see any reason for it not to work correctlyValda wrote: ↑Thu Dec 06, 2018 8:10 pmHi.

For all runners with a BSP less than 85 it sets a signal, when one goes above 100 another signal is set, then under 80 a third is set at which point the bet triggers @ 75 if the race has been in-play at least 40 secs.
Betfair always match at the best price so if its gone back above 100 during the 2-sec in-play delay between the bet being triggered and placed there's nothing you can do about that
If you post the log it will confirm if its fired right
i'll run it on the 8:30 myself to double check
