Just keep capturing the data during the race rather than stopping the collection at the start. The last traded price should be 1000 or all runners except for the the one that won which will have an ltp of 1.01. That's not strictly true as close finishes might make the ltp greater than 1.01 but it's near enough and the best you can do.
Hi Shaun, Many thanks for your response, when I'm running Bet Angel I can set a column for "Lowest Traded Price" and these numbers change in-play and post race will show me the final figures.

I've taken a snippet of the column pre race, I guess I should have done one for post race

Shaun, yes I would like Bet Angel to keep capturing the data during the race but can't see how to set that... Cheers

Hi Dallas,

Many thanks for your response within the "Betfair Price Files Download Manager" I think I've set how your describing below, please see my jpeg following;

If you take your hi/lo prices from BA ie, the market overview, excel, stored values etc they have a spike filter to eliminate prices that only traded at small volume (relative to price).

If you store the value of the back/lay/ltp price at its high and lowest points that will give you the actual price regardless of amount traded (note, if using back/lay prices that will be the high/lowest offered so not necessarily anything matched)

Have I got it set correctly because it dosent show the "Lowest Traded Price" as in the "one click" or "manual bet screen" I'm using "Lowest Traded Price" with "Custom Columns"

The odds showing within the Guardian Log are higher than in the "One Click" or "Manual Bet" screen i.e. Same as the Betfair Price Files Download Manager files... Cheers

you can either go direct http://www.betfairpromo.com/betfairsp/prices/

or viewtopic.php?f=54&t=14395

I use version 6 which you can get here
viewtopic.php?p=185027#p185027
Thanks Anbell, will look into that later & get my head around it
And theirs more .....

Betfair are giving away historical data at the Advanced level (1sec frequency) for Jan2020 to May2020 and Pro level (50ms frequency) for Apr2020 to May2020. This is for all sports.

This is due to the lack of events, but for testing purposes you may find the data available as useful. You can normally get 1 minute data for free with the basic plan.

Scroll down to the Discount Price Plans to get the free data. Don’t use the Purchase Data selector.

Here’s the link but it’s easily Googled –
