Someone just came in and backed 4 horses in this race to about £3k each causing massive spikes. Anyone else see this?!

No surprise they weren't around for the next race. Assuming they all came from the same person then they must have lost a mint on that one whatever strategy they were using - the fav didn't drift much despite the bets and came in late.
