Some weird activity in Betfair markets this week. Have a look at the second race today.

That last race on the 2nd and 3rd favs was mental!

Does seem there's some pretty large bettor out today and he's desperate to get matched too.

This punter was on yesterday doing the same thing.

He seems to appear 10-15 minutes before the race and puts a large back bet on each of the first 3 in the field, causing the price to plunge in. Nice trading opportunity when it reverses though!

Not sure what kind of strategy it is though!

ive noteced him or her around also ..but hes just backing or laying 3000.4000 at a time ,dosnt seem to be trading,,im sure he was in the market at naas laying multiple thousands on An Ghalanta (IRE) 1/2fav .....

We're assuming it's a 'he', not an it. I bet it's your friendly local bookmaker, Betfair... :lol:
