Linking Nominated Selections to Excel

Hi All

Im just delving into Excel and BA - very powerful stuff!

Im halfway there with some VBA around automation of selections I just can't figure out how to link a selection to the excel template (multi market for guardian).

Essentially, when I make a selection in guardian to run an automation, I need that selection to appear as text in the market page on excel. This is to facilitate logging and other analysis.

Im guessing the way to do this is via shared stored values? but Im just at a loss as to how to trigger this!

Any advice?
