Would it be useful to fire bets with an offset stored in an SV?

I think this has been suggested before but I couldn't find it. The suitable size of an offset often varies depending on the volatility of the market. It would be handy if you could pass a parameter in an SV rather than hard coding your offset in the rule.

This is why I ask, a lot of rules can be compressed into one with a calculation. :)
