The original poster has been very successful, much more successful than I have been.
So therefore, I am interested to know what the API programme does as it could potentially be a benefit to myself.

Based on his recent post, Betfair, along with the other bookies, have been acting quite dumb by asking for all his personal data when clearly he is an account they should be cherishing and sending a yearly case of champagne to...or at least a Betfair diary....

Megarain is frustrated for good reason.
Got this from the key account manager, which is fair enough.
I will wait a week and then ask for physical address info for the small claims court.

But it's totally unacceptable that even your account manager can't give you a timeframe.
Do you know why they closed your account? Presumably if it was just due to affordability concerns they would have no reason to be holding on to your residual balance? Has something triggered their AML flag I wonder?
In the opening post he said he'll wait a month or two for them to find the
£400 and now he's going to small claims in a week.
We've only heard one side of the story and I think megarain has been very selective in what he told us.
Anyone who can win over £3 million on Betfair has to be smarter than the average bear and I think he knows exactly why his account has been closed.
Whether or not they were justified in closing the account is another matter.

The older I get the more convinced I am that faceless companies like betfair have what I like to refer to as the F%@K Up Fairies. You go about your business and all of a sudden out of nowhere they appear and F%@K everything up and create havoc, then as quickly as they appear they disappear leaving a mess for everyone else to sort out.
